(Kate)
Day 58 – Manning Gorge Campground rest day.
Rest and recovery day after yesterday’s walk, with some schoolwork too. Keith has a film study to do on the Truman Show, and Nicole is also going to use it for something, so Keith, Nicole and Ben watched the DVD on the laptop. Kate read this month’s book club book, "Hamnet".
During our last swim in the river, we saw an adorable baby freshwater crocodile sunning itself on a rock about 20 metres downstream of us. And a water bird fishing. And another bird standing on a rock holding its wings out to dry its feathers. I am constantly marvelling at all the wildlife up here. Where there is water, there is life.

I finally discovered panorama mode on my phone. It took one of my teens to show me, of course, since they are way more tech savvy than I am. |

After yesterday's sun-drenching, most of us covered up today. |

The moon rising over the campground. Nicole has some better photos, and hopefully she will post them here too. |
